As promised, here's the recipe. I want to credit the backbone of the recipe to this one I found on one of my favorite fabric arts blog, Posie Gets Cozy. I changed it substantially, because I decided to make it sans meat, and I wanted to add some other spices, types of veggies (vidalia onions instead of yellow and change to zucchini & add peas, minus the corn) and different beans. Anyway, here it is!

I've got an off topic question
The weight wall, fact or fiction?
Whenever I hit certain weights, especially on the way down, it seems like the scale pauses and takes a vacation. I can continue everything the same way it has been, and my weight won't move. Then a week or two later my weight can drop 4-7 lbs in a as little as 3 days.
Is there a reason for this pause, is it unusual, or is it just me?
