I kept composing drafts of posts, and as time passed, it became clear that the fear of having something relevant to say kept me from posting at all. Right now my life is a barage of AP Biology, Physical therapy for the boy child, physical therapy for me, driving kids, tutoring organic and biochem (see AP Biology) and preparing to get the much-needed certifications for returning to my office job. I am getting certified in sports nutrition, to compliment my passion for getting my patients to exercise and commit to an active lifestyle. I think I can also benefit my own training with more attention to nutrition.
This has so far been the school year that has eaten my life...except for last tuesday when my bestie and I arrived at Target at 7:50 for the opening bell of the release of the Missoni for Target line. Sigh, it was epic.
And the adorable rain boots....
And the home collection **GASP**!!
Anyway, I'm not going to feel so intimidated that I can't start blogging again. It might help me focus and distill the myriad of things I'm doing into a more streamlined, getting things done me. Yea, right. So I'm going to start by saying I was inspired by a close friend this morning. He felt frustrated and ineffective with getting his lifestyle program in check. I feel the same way about my area of weekness: Organization. So I figured I could help him with his shortcomings and maybe in turn, face my own. So it was him that got me here today...and I hope that I can help him. So this is for you....get on the treadmill. Get moving. It only takes a little bit of will, and a little bit of time. Just like I started typing today without worry about what I would cover, and without any profound words of wisdom, and here I am. Getting out to exercise only takes a tiny bit of will, followed by a bit of an investment of energy, and it can change EVERYTHING. Everything.
